Jimmy Eugene Johnson age 84, of Hendersonville, TN passed away November 22, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Zealous Johnson and Janie Mae Wade of Macon County.
Jimmy graduated from White House High School and retired from Ford Glass Plant after over 30 years of service. He was a former member of Grace Baptist Church, Alta Loma Baptist, Trinity Baptist Church and a current member at The Church of Grace Park in White House. Jimmy Eugene Johnson age 84, of Hendersonville, TN passed away November 22, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Zealous Johnson and Janie Mae Wade of Macon County.
Jimmy graduated from White House High School and retired from Ford Glass Plant after over 30 years of service. He was a former member of Grace Baptist Church, Alta Loma Baptist, Trinity Baptist Church and a current member at The Church of Grace Park in White House. He was also a member of Sumner County Car Club and Hershey AACA Car Club. He coached church basketball and softball teams, he was also a award winning antique car collector. His antique cars were featured in several movies, TV Shows, magazine covers and Tennessee Crossroads, as well as music videos.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Johnson of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Willa Dean Knight of Cross Plains, TN; children, Sherry Sesler of Dickson, TN, Belinda Johnson of White House, TN and Jimmy Johnson II (Susan) of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, David Alessio II (Kristie), Melissa Marques (Joel), Graham Sesler, Sunday Greer (Shawn), Wes Sesler (Jen), Morgan Johnson, Sydney Johnson and Chloe Johnson; great-grandchildren, Paco Marques, Andrew Marques, David Alessio III, Dion Pearson, Austin Sesler, Kaitlyn Sesler and Jaxson Sesler; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 from 2pm until 8pm and Saturday from 10am until 2pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday with Bro. Lloyd Johnson and Bro. Bob Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
