On Saturday, March 28, 2015, Ellen 'Louise' Murray, age 93, went to be with her heavenly father. She was born on Friday,, June 17, 1921 in Nashville, TN., to Luther Gilbert Haynes and Sarah Jane Haynes.

She grew up and lived the majority of her life in Nashville. She was widowed by her husband Erma Murray. She then became a resident of Chippington Towers I, Madison, TN., where she remained for 27 years and made many happy friendships.

On Saturday, March 28, 2015, Ellen 'Louise' Murray, age 93, went to be with her heavenly father. She was born on Friday,, June 17, 1921 in Nashville, TN., to Luther Gilbert Haynes and Sarah Jane Haynes.

She grew up and lived the majority of her life in Nashville. She was widowed by her husband Erma Murray. She then became a resident of Chippington Towers I, Madison, TN., where she remained for 27 years and made many happy friendships.

Ms. Murray is survived by her children Edna Ruth Finley, Evelyn Gladden, Edward Caldwell, Sara Elaine Taft and husband Jim Taft. She is also survived by her sisters Lula Mae Wilson and Pauline Montgomery, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers James Haynes, Jewel Haynes, her sisters Frances Walker, Jean Womack, and Christine Beach, her Granddaughter Barbara Papai, her Grandson Timothy Caldwell, her Great-Grandson Cody Minnick, and her Great-Great Granddaughter Kiara Wilkes, and her best friend Joe Wilson.

A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. David Royalty officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Louise asked that donations be made to The American Red Cross, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Alive Hospice, Madison for the loving care provided during her illness.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Murray at a visitation Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072
